Just look around here,cause i own one and i know it’s kind of expensive,you need a 7.2 battery+ charger+ 8 aa batteries for the transmitter +,4 aa batteries for the receiver,a charger for the 7.2 volt battery pack.All together you’re looking at $500.00 to run it.There are others on here but this will do it,they come with the 3.3 or the more mild 2.5.The 2.5 is what a suggest cause in sand the 3.3 is extremely powerful even with the right tires.So look around these sites and this is a very legit site and they say 3 day delivery,well every time i ordered it was there the next day.So i buy from no one but Tower.Tell your son he’s a great guy for putting his life on the line.God bless you both.I was in Vietnam.I’m 59 now and know what i’m talking about when it comes to this hobby and war.For fuel i suggest 33% Top fuel.http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXJCN1&P=7

go to a deal that sell rc trick rc planet and ofter type thinking like that you can go out and buy a book on rc thing about the book store
