I’m intrested in getting a R/C nitro truck and have to decide between the Revo 3.3 and Savage X SS. I prefer the Savage X SS more as i’m not into racing. For those of you who have either of these 2 trucks, what’s your view on them? Hows the acceleration, braking and overall control of the vehicle. Is there anything else (im sure) that can help me make a decision.

looking at getting some new ball bearings for my nitro RC stadium truck. it seems like usually they just use standard steel plate bearings. i was looking at some rubber sealed bearings to replace the current ones and was wondering if they would have more drag than the standard steel ones.

Ok so some background i’m as of right now in Iraq and wanted a beefy 4×4 nitro truck to have some fun with to kill time between missions. I usually research things more before i buy them but i loved the way this truck looked so i bought it on impulse. Anyway, my question is can anyone point me to helpful websites about RC Nitro trucks/cars, and also give me some pointers or advice about what parts i may want to stock up on for replacement and anything bad/good about the truck i bought. Thanks for any info i’m totally in the dark on these things a buddy a few years back had a nitro supra which was sweet and i’ve always wanted one since then. Now i’d like to learn as much as i can about them.
also why am i not seeing the “controller” when i’m looking at pics… dumb question but does it COME with one and what does it look like?
